Hi, my name is Daniel Pires. I am in my final year at Staffordshire University London. I am now excited to be looking for my first full-time job in Game Design. I have been studying and working on personal projects for the last two years.
My career goal is to one day to be working within a large games company, allowing me to grow my experience. The gaming world is changing rapidly, and I would like to gain more professional experience to support my aspirations. However, I know that I can provide a fresh take and an extraordinary approach to every project. I am always open to challenges and constructive feedback. Being open-minded and quick to learn has allowed me, to already achieve a lot. I want to become a team player and dedicate all my skills and talents to developing high-quality and unique games.
Why do I think this is important?
As a generalist, I’m quick to adapt and happy to try anything new to enable the people I am working with to make something fantastic. I'm good at seeing the bigger picture, and how things can be put together and often anticipate possible problems before they are hit- allowing for projects to stay on track.
This wide variety of skills and instincts I believe will make me a great addition to any team. I strive to grow as a game designer and support those I work with to achieve great things.
I want to constantly grow and pour my passion into making games and keep doing it for many years to come.
Outside of making games, I enjoy playing Genshin & League, cooking, travelling and going to Comic Cons.
